Crazy...

The ticker says 15 days.

A funny thing about my life and some random-ness

Okay- so mostly I don't drive the car that Senor and I share. Today was an exception which was really good because it was pouring cats and dogs all morning and I would have been in serious trouble if I had been walking. And by trouble I mean wet. Despite not actually using my own car I spend very little time walking anymore and often drive a car everyday. Usually it is a Volvo, but there are also a couple of BMW's, Ford cargo vans, and recently a Mercedes Benz SUV. I go to the bank three or four times a week and recently began wondering if anyone noticed that I come in a different car each time. What would they think? Do you think they would suspect drug dealing? Maybe I have multiple families and lead multiple lives. Or perhaps they would just think I am doing much better financially than I actually do. Senor thinks I am so charming I can talk the keys off a stranger. It kind of makes me want to try it sometime. Just see if I could... I have walked up to total st...

Things I have completed...

1. This quilt which I started last summer. I had been not finishing it because I was afraid of cutting and binding it. The the other night I came home and just did it. It isn't perfect, but it is now on our bed adding a little extra warmth instead of wasting away in a bin, waiting for me to finish it. 2. This baby blanket which I started crocheting when I was like ten weeks pregnant. Now the baby can come because it has a mama-made blanket... 3. And speaking of the baby.... It is complete as well. I hit 37 weeks and so I am considered "full term". That means the baby is welcome to come whenever it is ready. Yay for baby!

Garden(ing) Party Success

Image
Despite the rain all night and and all morning into the the early afternoon we still made it out and completed most of the job yesterday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who made it over and especially those who braved the mud to put our garden together. An extra shout out to Missy for taking pictures with my camera. There are many more pictures on fliker and as things start growing I am sure you will all see lot's more.

Have you seen?

Senor is back at his blog and up to cool things. You should go check it out.

And the cat came back.

I've been framed! Originally uploaded by anilia Not willingly mind you. He showed almost no recognition at first and slunk around until he could hide under the bed of the lady who has had him since October. Now he is sitting on the back of the couch next to me and I can see his heart is beating about a million times a minute. Senor called me this morning and said, "I think someone who actually has Sydney just called me." This was surprising because lot's of people have called after seeing the poster and a random black cat. After talking for a few minutes to all of these wonderful, well-meaning people, Senor always establishes that it is not Sydney that they are looking at. So it was quite a shock that this seemed to be him. After seven months... I can now say that I was never heartbroken that he was gone. I had no doubt that he was living with someone and getting tons of attention and very happy. And part of the reason I was never heartbroken was because I fu...

?

Guess who may be coming home tonight.

Post 130

Do you see the ticker saying 30 days left... Have you noticed my belly jumping around as if there is someone living inside? Today was all baby moving, all day. Starting this week I go see the midwife once a week. Tomorrow we meet our doula. In other news I have to redo the garden plan. Senor tillered more space for me and I have more to fit in... Can't wait to see you all at the party!

Preparing...

Next weekend is the garden(ing) party... This weekend is the prep work... The plants have come. The garden is planned. The ground is tilled. And fertilized. In addition I have packed my bag for the hospital. Senor felt contractions the other night while I was asleep and he had his hand on my belly. So he thought it was time to be prepared... This week we also hired a new me at work. So I can train her and send her to all the events. Yay for preparing!

Funny- at least to me...

I am now that pregnant lady who folds her hands across the top of her belly because it is the most comfortable place for them to be.
